Mivi Roam 2 Speaker Review

Mivi Roam 2 Speaker Review

Mivi Roam 2 is a great read if you have never heard of the original book. Mivi is a twelve-year-old orphan who lives with her grandmother in their native village of Omro. She is very protective of her grandmother and the rest of her village as her family has always done. One day, Mivi’s grandmother dies and leaves the village to pursue her dreams, but Mivi does not listen and continues on her own path. She is very disappointed when her grandmother’s book of legend is stolen by the evil wizard Dagon.

The book starts out just where the first book ended, with Dagon’s current whereabouts. He has now returned to Limestone, his homeland, in search of the legendary Stones of Eternity. But where is he? And how did he get here? Mivi and her new friend Boadhagh are called to a local auction in order to bid on the Stones and hopefully win them back for Mivi.

The book quickly moves into the next events of the story as they all unfold, but we don’t really see what happens to the Stones once they are bid on. We do know that they are placed in an elaborate lock box, but we do not see how or when they are unlocked. Also, there were no other characters in this book, so I guess I can say the story is non-existent. On the other hand, I liked the story and enjoyed the characters, but the book could use a little more detail. I believe it is a fun book to read, but only because it is written in first person and doesn’t try to cover too much.
