The best time to visit Sikkim is from May to September, but the best time to go there are all year round as the weather is nice all year around! Sikkim is known for its festivals and one of the festivals in Sikkim is Onam, which is a nine-day festival of love and affection. This festival started way back in 9th century when a relative of the king of Sikkim started a religious order in the Gopura Stupa at Gopura, a town near Kottayam in the state of Kerala, India.
