Story / Synopsis
The main storyline in Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain tells the story of Rishiraj (later identified in the film as “Rishi Sen”) and Priyadarshini (who is later referred to as “Pihu Mitra”). As kids they were close to each other and were deeply bonded. However, circumstances lead to their separation. In time their paths diverge.
A few years after, Rishi is now an aggressive, successful industrialist and Pihu has turned into a tour guide – two distinct personalities. But fate has brought the two together and, unbeknownst for them both, their lives is interwoven. Their current relationship is characterized by tension, miscommunications and the gradual revealing of past memories and hidden secrets.
Although they are initially unable to be friends but the memories, emotions unresolved and buried truths begin to pull them closer to one another. Can love prevail over pride? Are they able to rekindle the bond they shared in childhood and heal the wounds from separation?
